Oystequila

from $55.00

High Quality Giclee print on museum grade archival Smooth Cotton Rag 280GSM.

“Oystequila”

Repulsive combo, isn’t it? I love it!!

I’m drawn to pairing things that shouldn’t belong together—opposites that feel wrong but somehow still work. Like, oysters with tequila….🥲 (which to be fair, some might argue actually go together)
But the cupcake and oyster mix? No one’s convincing me those belong together.

Messy, chaotic, and unusual.

I’m still trying to work out why I’m so intrigued by these combinations. Maybe it’s the challenge of making them fit. Maybe it’s because opposites—like luxury and the ordinary, chaos and beauty—exist together more often than we realise.
Or maybe it’s a reflection of myself: a little chaotic, very curious, and occasionally quirky

I love how something so strange can start to feel right if it’s presented differently.

anyway, I’ll keep exploring
